This man, Jack CHRISTIE, would seem to be a brother, and served in the Navy, and I am not seeing a NAA record for him either.

Did this family use another name?

"His mother made a reference to RAN service in his obituary"

Can you identify the name and date of this notice......in a newspaper?

England / Re: Elizabeth PHILLIPS - Born/bapt. in Lancashire or Cheshire?

Elizabeth PHILLIPS, mother, who registers the birth, 1848, is not literate.

Where Robert PHILLIPS, married 1844, signs his name, you might expect that children/grandchildren of Samuel PHILLIPS would be literate?.

" I don't know what happens to Elizabeth Nightingale PHILLIPS after the 1851 census and I haven't got a baptism for her yet."

What happened to mother Elizabeth after this birth?

Australia / Re: Samuel Alexander Park 1851-1894.
« on: Monday 21 April 25 22:58 BST (UK)  »

"He seems to have spent a lot of time in Sydney, Australia, and other parts of New South Wales."

"In 1884 he married my 3rd great grandmother in London, England, but appeared in Sydney, Australia later that year"

Apart from the forgery case, 1882, where and when do you see your Samuel Alexander PARK to be in New South Wales?
