I am trying to locate a personal photograph of Alan, but have been unsuccessful to date.
He was born in 1915 in Guisborough, North Riding of Yorkshire and married Mabel Dalgetty in September 1939 in Scarborough.

Alan was a Flight Lieutenant (#121466) served in 101 Squadron.
His Lancaster DV289 IBC was shot down over Germany on the return flight back to the UK.
He and some of crew were killed and a number were captured as POW's.

I have to date been unable to locate a photograph of him, although I have extensive information of his military career and his crew.

Any help in locating a photograph of Alan will be much appreciate.

Thank you all for your help and information.

However, it does not answer my original question: Where can I find the 1921 Census of my grandfather's family in India?
His wife, daughter and son.
We have photographs of the family in India.

I have a full Ancestry family tree with all the other information.

I recently unearthed a 1921 Indian Census entry - no mention of family even though child was born in the locale at the time. I think you will find the '21 Census didn't extend to "civvies".

I think you are correct in that the families were included in the 1921 Census.

Not what you asked for but found this on Family Search Site. Based on his age in the 1921 (38 years & 10 months) his DoB would be roughly 1882.

Point of interest "Marital Status   Unknown"

Also listed as William Percy Freman not Percy William Freeman. Might help your future search using this variant.

Name William Percy Freman
Sex   Male
Age   41
Birth Year (Estimated)   1882
Death Date   7 Jan 1923
Marital Status   Unknown
Event Type   Burial
Event Date   7 Jan 1923
Event Place   Bengal, India
Event Place (Original)   Meerut, Bengal, India

Hope this helps

Wrong person.
He died in 1965 in York.

Percy William Freeman (38 years & 10 months) is Squadron Sergeant Major in the "A" Squadron 5th Royal Irish Lancers. He is married and has two children aged 9 and 12 years. He has been in the A Squadron of the 5th Royal Irish Lancers for 19 years and 10 months.
He is serving in India in the 1921 Census with his fellow officers and men.
However, there are no details of his family.
I know that his wife, a school teacher, and son and daughter were in India at the time.

Can anyone advise me where I can locate the Census details for the family in India?
