Oxfordshire Lookup Requests / Re: Henley Workhouse Inmates between 1891 and 1901
« on: Wednesday 07 November 12 20:48 GMT (UK)  »
The detail I have is in the 1891 census he is living with his aunt and uncle Eliza and Robert Godfrey in Fawley Buckinghamshire which is near Henley, on this census he is recorded as being born in Fawley about 1887 age four, ten years on in the 1901 census he is in the workhouse aged fourteen years.  Could the birth year date be incorrect? This is the same George I have been looking for in my previous posts. Will there be any detail recorded in the workhouse records?
