Hi there

Many thanks for this. I have emailed them and the person said they would pass it on to their tech team. I wasn’t sure if it was just me or of anyone else was having the same issue. I think I will have to wait now for these glitches to be fixed. I love that site as previously you could have put two surnames in and if you got a match it saved you time going through every record!

Many thanks for your help.

Hi there

Thank you for your replies. Yes this works for baptisms but if I input John Steele in to marriages this is what I get. Then when I go back and look at the form Steele is missing and only John is there.

Many thanks

Hi there

Is anyone else having issues with the new UHF website. This used to be a great site but now it doesn’t seem to work properly. I can’t look up anyone as it does not seem to filter. E.g. input John Steele, it throws up all the Johns with different surnames.

Many thanks

Ireland / 1924Ulster birth records
« on: Monday 03 September 18 09:37 BST (UK)  »
Hi there

Sorry if I’m posting in the wrong place.
I am looking for a Belfast birth record from 1924/25. Will I be able to get this anywhere? I know GRONI is 100 years after the birth for records.

Many thanks

Sinaan

Thanks for this. Obviously some problem with it at the minute!

The suspicious side of me thinks it's probably someone somewhere in power deleting the fact that their gt gt grandfather was chief executioner 😂😂😂!!

Hi there

It seems that I can no longer get images for the 1901 1911 Ireland census on my iPad. Just wondering is it just me or has something changed? I was definitely getting them on Monday 🤔.

Thanks

Many thanks for all your help. I have looked at Emerald ancestors and Ancestry Ireland so I think I'll try PRONI. Thanks for the reference  - very useful.

Antrim / Births NI where to go prior 1864

Hi there

Re my gt gt grandfather charles Campbell I want to find his birth record. Where can I search prior to 1864?
I know his father was also Charles Campbell. He was married in Trinity Church in Belfast (which no longer exists) and his burial record states that he was 32 yrs old when he died in 1886, which makes his birth @1854.
The only thing I can think of is to search Trinity Church records for a baptism. Where would these records be held?

Many thanks for reading  :)
