Many thanks, that's absolutely brilliant. George T. Egglestone was myg.g.grandfather.
So far though, I haven't worked out who his parents were. He is on 1851 census listed as
grandson to John and Mary, and again ten years later. I wondered if he might be the son of
Ann. Will have to get a copy of his birth cert.

  I've got a copy of marriage cert. for James Forster and Jane Bussey. February 2nd 1852
Resident at Chapel Row Old Shildon. James' father was William Forster and Janes' father was John Bussey. Married in the Church of St. John, Shildon.
