My grandparents - James Kay Horsfield and Alice Harding did arrive in Auckland in 1900. I have tried to find shipping details on the internet but have been unsuccessful so would appreciate it if you could do a search for me.

Thanks again for your willing assistance - I will be in touch.

Serena

Good Mroning:

You are going to a lot of trouble for me. I hope it is not too much of an imposition.

I would understand if you said you couldn't do any more.

Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Valmai:

My maternal grandparents arrived in Auckland from England in about 1900.

Their names were James Kay Horsfield and Alice Harding. They were married in the Auckland Registrar's Office on 12 November 1900 after they had met on-board ship.

I am wondering if you can find any information on the name of their ship and date of arrival in New Zealand.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Serena.

Hello Chris :

That is the family. Thank you very much for your effort.

I think the Harding John H should be Harding James H.

Much appreciated.

 :) :)

Looking for Great-grandfather, James Howard Harding, and my Grandmother, Alice Harding, in 1891 census. James would be about 52 and Alice about 15. They lived in London, perhaps between Islington and Wood Green. James's wife was Emma born in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Would like household details please.
