It's certainly very similar. However, the writing on the engine casing looks remarkably like Triumph.

There are no borders, and the back is perfectly blank. Thanks for your interest, I am now pursuing other leads.

I got it in a box of old family photos from a cousin. As usual, about 1 in 50 have any writing on them, and this isn't one of them.

Well, I've looked out the original, and what you see is all I have. We now think it is a triumph, with a rubber belt drive.

The driver appears in other pictures with my grandmother's brother who was William Robertson, born 1875 Dunfermline. He emigrated to NSW Australia after 1901.

Hi Jacqui
The photo was in a batch from my cousin. None of us knew where the shop was, or why it was in our collection.
However, our grandfathers Walter & John Lawrie were tailors and outfitters. They traded as Lawrie & Wilkie, first in Picardy place, then at 10 Union Street, both Edinburgh. Other members of the family served in the shop.

Help required to identify the place in this photograph. I think it may have been on a family holiday around 1956 - 1959.

Fife / Dunfermline cricket circa 1933

This photo has my father, James Kent, back row second right, and his friend George Orr front right. They both attended Queen Anne High school, and were keen Scouts. Can anyone identify the Cricket Club, or does anyone have information relating to cricket in Dunfermline around that time?
