Hello Susan, my Elizabeth (Lizzie) McNeice Walker married George Fairbairn Combe 13 Aug 1914, Linlithgow, West Lothian Scotland. They spent the majority of their married life on Isle of Man where George was lighthouse keeper. Lizzie's eldest sister, Mary Devine Walker, b1887 was my grandmother. Mary married in Broxburn Scotland in 1909 William Wyper. In 1927 William, Mary and family emigrated to Maitland NSW. Their youngest child, also William Wyper b.1923, was my father.
I'd like to share info. William (Bill) Wyper, Lake Macquarie NSW

Hi Alison,

Your grandmother Elizabeth (Lizzie) Combe was born Elizabeth McNeice Walker in Broxburn Scotland. Her eldest sister, Mary Devine Walker , b1887 was my grandmother. Mary married William Wyper in 1909 and the family emigrated to Australia in 1927. Their youngest child, William Wyper, b1923 Broxburn was my father. The family settled in maitland NSW, where I was born. In 1962 my grandmother Mary Devine Wyper( nee Walker), now a widow, visited Scotland to catch up with her surviving siblings. Mary spent weeks on the Isle of Man with sister Lizzie and her family. When Mary returned to Australia she brought with her many photos . I have been putting names to the faces in the photos but have a number of your family still unidentified. I'm happy to share them with you. I have a tree on GenesReunited.William (Bill ) Wyper, lake Macquarie NSW
