Hi Madhu

I encourage you to look at the following website about John Smith of Nibley. I'm afraid it may end our look at this line.

However, there's nothing to say there isn't something missing....

I second that thanks, Dave

Is the Bristol Mercury at the Gloucester County Records Office? Where did you find it and is there a reference number we can quote in our source citations?

I think we might be distant Phelps cousins. A lots of work has been done by many people on the Phelps family tree in Gloucestershire. A man named George Phelps started it in the 1980's and Narissa continued on with it. Now there are a couple of us trying to finish it off. If you'd like to contact me for Phelps info from before 1800, message me privately and I'll email what I have to you.

I hope this helps

My French family weren't far away, around Frocester, Uley, Cam, area. What are you looking for? Maybe I can help?

Hi Kelly

I'm looking for Kings Stanley Wood Family information too, but I've hit a wall before the mid 17th century. My ancestors were originally from Kings Stanley (Charles and William Wood), but they went to Frocester and the family continued on there. If you ever come across information pre-1650, please tell me. No matter how hard I dig, I cannot find them.
