I am trying to find info on the above ( my great great Uncle ) he was born in India on the 20th August 1894 he then seems to have come back to the UK around the turn of the century then went back to India and became a Police Superintendent. I am guessing he would have come back on or before 1947 by we have no idea?. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to research Percy William Slater born 27th October 1908 in Winterton, Lincs and died 23rd August 1992 in Grimsby.  We beleive his fathers name may have been John Turner Slater.  There was some sort of huge bust up with his father apparently but this may just be family rumour. I can find no record of his birth at all?.  Thanks if you can help

I am trying to trace information on Cedric Stansmore Baker DOB 1898 ( bedford) and Brigadier-General Thomas Baker. They are believed to be related. Sir Thomas fought in the second Afghan War and Cedric graduated Saugor Military Academy in 197 and joined the 5th Gurkha Rifles, we think he came home around 1931- Any information on these two would be gratefully received , especially a DOB and place of birth for Thomas.
Thanks

N R S Baker

Hi, I am trying to research Brigadier Sir Thomas Baker and his relation to Cedric Stansmore Baker who joined the 5th Gurkha Rifles in 1917, there has always been talk of a relationship between the two but can't find any info on Thomas d.o.b or family. I am aware Sir Thomas fought in the Second Anglo-Afghan war. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
