Thank you ev. I do have a Jane 3 and Elisabeth 1 children of Jane and James who died aboard the Glentanner, another child was born aboard and survived. Also aboard was a William Hood Watson aged 9.
No I havent found them on the Census yet.

Hi I am looking for any information about the following families. James Watson born abt 1827 Edinburgh and his wife Jean or Jane Dunbar born abt 1826 Liff, Forfarshire. I believe James and Jane were married in 1854 in Dundee and came to Australia in 1859 aboard the Glentanner.

Hi I am just starting to research a Thomas Doherty that was born in Tipperary, Ireland approximately 1843. Thomas is believed that he may have come from a family of several children and his parents were John and Margaret.
I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction as to where it is best to start my search. Thanking you. Sharon-Lee.

Hi, my name is Sharon-Lee and I am a descendant of Michael Goodall Yates son of Benjamin Yates and Ann nee Begot. I have only just recently started looking at the family tree information that my father has compiled and am very excited to actually find something on line that corresponds.
