I am off again to Coatbridge tomorrow.. we are five hours ahead here so have a great day..

I do know that my O'Neills also are from County Tyrone Omagh, they are of the same O'Neills from Coatbridge.  I am hoping to head over there before my return..

I am currently here in Scotland from America doing research for my Family the O'Neill's.. After reading all of your posts. Maybe I can be of some help.. I after spending many hours on-line.. finally made this trip over here and went directly to the Coatbridge, Scotland registers office.. They answered many of my long building questions. I was able to locate the birth certificate of my grand father Patrick John O'Neill, the address where he lived, the marriage certificate of his parents Catherine Murray O'Neill to Patrick O'Neill and both of their former addresses as to where in Scotland they lived prior to getting married. After getting their addresses we drove to them, found out that the Catholic church still is standing and is operational and still has records dating back to 1892 and has their own web site.. Needless to say I was thrilled.. Many O'Neills farmed here and were also Iron workers.. If anyone would like further info.. Please e-mail me at (*) Good Luck in your searches..
