Have 1 Morton in my ancestry:-
Caroline Morton (parents Robert & Mary) born Hull 1811
She married Francis Fox Ashton 1833 Sculcoates.
Died age 37 in 1849 living at Higson Court, Blanket Row, Hull.
Blanket Row still there close to Marina but no houses, just industrial & car park.

Hello CompoI have just read your message and would like to suggest this data from my family : In the 1851 census "David Lyons (78) listed as Chelsea Pensioner Sergeant 3rd Veteran Battalion living at 9 Higson's Court, Hull . Also there is Daniel (23) butcher, Isabella (23) dau. in law and James (21) son butcher. Benjamin Watson is listed as a lodger Butcher."
