Thanks for the suggestion Don.

I have tried to use the Clan website for my search, but they are unable to help (so far).

Canada / ROBERTSON OF NOVA SCOTIA - LAIRD OF STRUAN
« on: Thursday 03 September 09 05:37 BST (UK)  »
The following death notice for my g-g-grandmother Euphemia Galbraith Affleck (1814-1900) who was married to Robert Robertson (1814-1869) appears to establish a connection with the Laird of Ctruan /Clan Donnachaidh
The 2 January 1901 death notice in the Melbourne (Australia) Age newspaper reads as follows:

ROBERTSON -On the 31st December at the residence of her son-in-law Mr John McNeil, " st Vincent" High Street, Northcote, Melbourne, Victoria. Euphemia Robertson nee Euphemia Affleck, eldest daughter of the late William Affleck of Ayr, Scotland and widow of the late Robert Robertson, grandson of the last Laird of Struan, Perthshire, Scotland of Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Kilmarnock, Scotland, aged 90 years.

Is anyone able to identify " the last Laird of Struan, Perthshire, Scotland of Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Kilmarnock, Scotland" grandfather of Robert Robertson.

Regards

Caroline Gittoes mentioned in this post is my great grandmother.

I have a web site: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~watkinsbrown/

Would like to hear from anyone with an interest in the Gittoes family line.
