Hi All
I have a brick wall - William Cattle was a tailor and had children with an Elizabeth in Clerkenwell between 1809 and 1824. He died in 1825 aged 44 and was buried in Spa Fields Denomination Countess of Huntingdon's Connexions. His wife Elizabeth died in 1841 in Clerkenwell. I think they were both born c1780. Can anyone help me please ?  Kind Regards David

Hi Lizzie  Your info confirms what my friend Jackie who is descended from the Cattle family has found. The William and Elizabeth married sherriff Hutton lived and died there, so there must be another William and Elizabeth, this is the William who was a Tailor like his son Henry who was also a Tailor.

Enoch was Henry's older brother all living in Clerkenwell and Ann's son was Thomas Enoch Smith and Ann is named in Henry's sister in his will. Also in the obituary for Enoch he is names as the son of William of York.  Kind Regards David

Thanks ColC but Ann was definitely born in Arnold Notts and her parents were William and Elizabeth
as the will of her brother Henry attests same as Enoch and one of her children was Thomas Enoch Smith,  Kind Regards  David

One of her children was Thomas Enoch Smith and Enoch's brother Henry mentions his sister Ann in his will

Hi All

Looking for  a wedding Of William and Elizabeth. They had a child Ann born 1802 in Arnold Notts and then moved to Clerkenwell London where they had another 5 children. The obituary for son Enoch born 1809 Clerkenwell says his father was William Cattle of York. Any help would be much appreciated. Kind Regards David
