Banffshire / Watt and Barron from Keith

I am looking for any information on George Watt, a weaver from Keith.  George married Helen Barron in 1785, Keith.  I have found some of their children - Patrick (1786), Jean (1787), Agnes (1792), Isobel (1797), Margaret (1799) and Susan (1801).  I know that Susan married George McHardy from Strathdon, but I don't know what happened to parents or siblings.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have lost a great uncle in Canada (Montreal, I think).  James Alexander McHardy (b.1897) left Scotland in 1924.  He arrived in Canada and might have been staying with relatives by the name of Taylor.  I know he arrived in Canada, but nobody in the family ever heard from him again.  I don't know if it is possible to check records online for Canada, as I live in the UK.  Could anyone advise me on this please?

Thank you.

Hello, I have lost a great uncle in Canada.  I'm not sure how to look for information as I don't live in Canada, and the only details I have are the following:

James Alexander McHardy (born1897, Fordyce) left Scotland for Canada in 1924, I have the passenger information for him.  He was going to live with a Frank M.G Taylor in Montreal.  The address of Frank Taylor is a bit faint, but I think it was Albany Avenue, Cote Des Neiges, Montreal?

Nobody in the family ever hear from him after his arrival in Canada, and I have been trying to find out what happened to him after he arrived , but I am not sure how to do it.

Any help would be appreciated.
