Thanks. I considered the Durham online but was not sure that the father's name was listed on marriage cerificates. I have been uable to find out when she died, since  the death certificate would have that info. That is how I found the name Parrish, off her daughter's death certificate. i checked the lineage on the LDS site and did get some of the info on Isaac's ancestors. Thanks I will be working on this to get confirmation. S

No reference Just searching census records for Durham. She was born Oct 1845. Probably Belmont,Durham. I believe married 1865 Jan q Auckland St Andrew Durham Vol 10a pg 214. Husband is listed as Cowens should be  Thomas Cowen. Lived in West Rainton , Durham on 1881 Census.

Gadget, This appears to be a family link. My husband's 2nd great grandmother was Margaret Ann Parrish married to Thomas Cowen.  Margaret was born Oct 1845 in Belmont. Durham. She married Thomas Cowen and emmigrated to US in 83. Their daughter Mary Alice married Henry Mason Wheatley. Do you have any info that could confirm this? S

Gadget ,
I think this is a link to my family. Margaret Ann Parrish born Oct 1845, Belmont, Durham, married Thomas Cowen and emmigrated to US  in 1883 Their daughter Mary Alice married Henry Mason Wheatley. If this is her family, Isaac is my husband's 3rd great grandfather. All the locations in Durham match. Do you have any info to confirm? S
