I did find a burial for one  of my stragglers Elizabeth Hopkins nee Stains who died in 1862 at Brent Cemetary  ;D I'd got her death certficate but the burial adds to the info I have and when I visit Dartford I can check her out.

Anna

Hope you have more luck, my one at the Brent didn't have a headstone.

That was the site I was going to check, the one bearkat gave you.

I'm not aware of Holy Trinity ever having a graveyard. Over the road was the East Hill Cemetary, but that has since been cleared and is now a park. Further up East Hill is Brent Burial Ground and Watling Street Cemetary. You will more than likely find them there.

Let me know the names and death dates and I will look them up.

Hi Louisa

Thanks for looking. I couldn't find him the 1841 either.

Hopefully one day I will find a baptism for him and can go back further.

Best Regards, Terry

Hi Louisa

Sorry for the confusion, I took the birth date of 1815 from his death registration.

I have updated my original post with the births from the census. So more than likely born around 1824, he was of full age on the marriage in 1845.

Best Regards,

Terry

Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me; with the only line in my tree, that I haven't been able to continue.

My 3rd great grandfather was Abraham Ramsden born abt 1824 in Islington. He was a plasterer.

I know his father was John Ramsden from the marriage certficate, his occupation is down as Millwright on one, and Engineer on the other (which are essentially the same).  Father is down as deceased in the 1st marriage in 1845.

In my research I came across a possible brother for Abraham. A John Ramsden born in Islington, father John, an engineer on marriage cert.
Plus they both married at the same church St. John The Baptist, Hoxton a fews years apart.  And the witness on Abrahams 1st marriage was a John Ramsden. John's occupation in the 1861 census is down as Plasterer, so lots of similarities.

I have a public tree with all the info on him so far here http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=are-we-related&id=P92

Any help on this would be great thanks. I just need to find his parents on a baptism record.

//Edit

Just adding census place of birth information:

1841 Not found
1851 Islington - birth abt 1824
1861 Islington - birth abt 1827
1871 London, Middlesex - birth abt 1825
1881 Bexleyheath - birth abt 1831, maybe his new wife gave the information, he did live in Bexleyheath before moving to Dartford
1888 Death in Dartford - birth abt 1815

Thanks verys much David.

At the time, I was assuming the Squires name was something to do with Freeman's wife or his parents, but I couldn't find any link.

I also couldn't find the link for his other daughter with the name Coulson, other than Naomi's brother Benjamin was living with some Coulson's in 1841.

Cheers, Terry

Hi David

Thanks for letting me know on Ancestry. Glad Bellababy has finally found out the information she was after.

Here is my tree if it's help to anyone.

If you ever come across a marriage for Naomi Wiles' brother Pelatiah Morris, I would be grateful if you can let me know.

Should be in St Neots about 1831 to a Mary Ann.

Cheers, Terry
