Thanks for this info...and kudos to you and your father for helping to publish the book and make research for the rest of us just a little bit easier... 
Yes, I have checked out familysearch.org..that's where I found the marriage license of Sarah and Andrew Gardiner, just nothing more! At least so far.
I did have one lucky find with them...they moved to an area in Canada called Kincardine and there is a book written about the early settlers. That's where I found a lot of information about the family...not to mention figuring out who was in that photograph that I had in my pile (turned out it was a ggg-uncle...Hugh Gardiner).
