Hello Hayley,

Im looking for any information regarding Alfred John Wincott as far as I know he was working at holly hill house as chauffeur/gardener in 1965 but I believe him and his partner continued to work there for many years before and later till they retired...he would have been in his 50's in 1965 and his wife I think may have been servant or even head housekeeper- sylvia may wincott? Also in 1965 my great grandfather George Ernest Wincott died at holly hill house while visiting his son Alfred so any info regarding that?

Thank you for your help.i know my great grandfather died in 1965 at holly hill house while I think visiting his son alfred,I would think this would be quite a thing somebody would remember?i shall try and write to Elsie,see if she or anyone around knows or remembers anything of alfred thank you

I am sorry for the slow reply I have only just seen this message. Wow thanks for all that info it is very interesting,so I can presume my relative worked for One of the people you have mentioned.i wonder if they have any living relatives who could shed any light on the staff members?thank you so much...I would love to maybe eventually search out an pictures regarding holly hill hOuse and maybe the staff/my relative :0)
