Yes they are both in my tree, There is a total of 12 Jan Jacobus Botes in my tree, and I am busy to get some info from another Chris Botes regarding his side of the family, Just maybe we can get the link.

I can find out regarding her parents marriage record, but need both their full names and marriage date.

There is alot of the same names in the family downline, when they had many children they named them after their brothers and uncles as well.

Jan Jakobus Botes b 1851 Brandfort OFS had 12 children of which Jan Jakobus b 1873 Bloemfontein was one of his sons. He had another son with the names Jan Jakobus Hendricus Saaiman Botes. Here he gave his wife's fathers firstname and surname as additional names.

We must just keep on digging, and we will find Lorraine's line. I will go and look in the archives when I go to Pretoria again.
