Thank you so much for the help  :)

If I could be cheeky an ask for some assistance with another livesey ?  :)

Annie Livesey b. 20 September 1914 Blackburn
Parents - James Livesey and Elizabeth Ann Leeming.

I am trying desperately to find a marriage for her but there are so many choices, she may have had a child called Tom and lived in the Blackburn area.

Thank you for all the help, the death in Ulverston is a possibility if I can confirm a marriage, the naval records were very interesting and sadly the legal notice of 1989 is not my Thomas.

Lancashire / Thomas Livesey - Request for help
« on: Saturday 20 December 25 08:05 GMT (UK)  »
Hi there, my Grand uncle Thomas Livesey born 29 December 1908 in Blackburn,Lancashire.

Parents are James Livesey and Elizabeth Ann Leeming.  I can find him on the 1911 and 1921 census and also traced him to the Naval college in Devonport in 1928. Then I cannot find any trace of him from thereon, however there is a possible sighting of him in 1943 and 1945 on various ships (possibly naval or cargo) .

Can anybody help please, I have searched Ancestry in other countries but to no avail.

Many thanks.

Tina

No one in the family remembers this person but my one aunt who thinks he may have been killed in a motorcykle accident before 1965 but is not sure if it is the correct person.

Thank you so much Sandra, I do not have the newspapers part of Ancestry but I will look into wether the husband was married before as the article could very well be her !  Did you by any chance find an article with John Coyle, I figure he must have died late seventies to early eighties.

Regards

Tina

I don’t think this has been posted on the other threads and seems quite a promising sighting.

1861 3069 /48/20
11 Heap Alley, Habergham Eaves (Burnley)
Susannah Pollet 40 yrs widow Spinner (Cotton) b Yorkshire
Anne -do- 19 yrs daughter Spinner
William 15 yrs son Moulder
William Clapper (?) 5 yrs nephew

The children are all dittoed as born Yorkshire

Thanks but my Pollitt didn't marry until 1881. Thanks so much though ☺️

I was thinking that is your William with his mother Susannah. He would be born c 1845.

Do you have him before his marriage?
