Hi!

I am looking for John DAVISON, his wife Harriet and daughter Mary Harriet in the 1841 census for Hull.  Sorry I have no address.

The wife was born in Sleaford, Lincs in approx 1816 and the daughter in Hull in 1837.

Any info gratefully received.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I am trying to track down my gg grandfather George Cox.  On census returns he gave his place of birth as North Stoke approx 1802.

He married Harriet Balderston in 1834 in Walcot and lived in Bath, St James, Pierrepoint Street, as a solicitor from at least 1837 until 1871.  He also farmed land in Weston, Bath.

I am trying to trace further back, prior to the 1841 census, but obviously need to find his baptism, parents and hopefuly any siblings.

Hi!

I am hoping a kind person can help me break down a long-standing brick wall.

My great grandmother was called Mary Harriet DAVISON.  I have very little to go on other than that her mother was called Harriet and father John DAVISON.  By the 1851 census, John has died and mother had remarried.  Mary gave her place of birth as Hull, Yorkshire.

I have checked the IGI to no avail so am hoping that someone can shed some light on this elusive ancestor!  Mary Harriet must have been born around 1835-1837 so JUST too early for registration!
