World War One / Trench Cartoon (Mametz 1916)

Hi - Anyone know where I could find information on this cartoonist (whose name I can't quite make out - bottom right of cartoon)?  The gentleman on the right is my great grandfather - Royal Welch Fusiliers/Machine Gun Corps - whose photo is my profile pic.
Thanks as always!

Armed Forces / Zeebrugge Raid - Casualties
« on: Tuesday 21 July 09 13:42 BST (UK)  »
Hi
Just a quickie asking for guidance in finding out more about my great great uncle
- Lieutenant Commander Harry Barge
 (b. circa 1885, son of Henry Barge, JP and Mayor of Poplar, London) who "succumbed to illness contracted in the epoch-making raid on Zeebrugge in the Great War" source: newspaper 1932.  What sort of illness might he have contracted I wonder!
I'm in the middle of reading Warner's book on the subject but it doesn't make mention of him as a casualty.

Cheers!

World War One / WW1 RAF Medal...
« on: Tuesday 21 July 09 13:00 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I've recently been given my step-great grandfather's WW1 British War Medal.  It is inscribed:
60749.2.A.M.  A.HOLCOMBE. R.A.F

Could anyone advise me as to how to research this (nothing appears on NA medal rolls) or indeed give me their thoughts on what the inscription might indicate (other than I presume he was an early member of the RFC?)  I know nothing else about him or his service record.
Cheers!

And these are his two sons.  The gentleman on horse-back is Hoffman Cole (b. Aug 26th circa 1890, died Jul 26 1955) of Dedham, Essex.  His brother is George Robert Cole (b. Apr 29th circa 1885, d. Jul 27 1945).  Anyone recognise the cap badges?
