Hi Amanda,

I don't think you can have a Williams connection here, as the Williams from which Elizabeth Ellen Thomas came were firmly an Aberystwyth family.

Thank you: I might presume given the name, that these are Richard's sisters. Of course I can't be sure without finding baptisms.

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to find out more about William Thomas, who was deacon of the Tabernacle Baptist Chapel in Llandudno, and one of its founders. His widow, Elizabeth, appears on the 1841 census with five children- though we don't know when she or her husband died. Of their children only James (our ancestor) and Hugh can be traced. William, born around 1823, his sister Elizabeth, perhaps a couple of years younger, and a sister Jane born c. 1832, we know nothing about.

I'd be very grateful for any assistance provided on these, especially the parents.
thanks,

Daniel

Hello All,

I'm looking to find out more about Richard Tulley (b. abt. 1799) in Llandeilo Graban, who married Mary Probert, of Aberedw, in 1827 at Llanbadarn-y-garreg.
They had five children, one son, Richard, and four daughters. I would be especially interested to know if anyone had come across other Tullys in the area, as I believe it is an Irish name, and cannot find an siblings of Richard.

Thanks,

Daniel

Merionethshire / Jones of Fronoleu, Thomas of Llan, Trawsfynydd

Hello,

I am looking for information on the farm of Fron Oleu, owned, according to his will by Robert Jones of Trawsfynydd (died 1818) and on the various elements of the Jones family who lived there. Also, on William Thomas, Smith of Llan, Trawsfynydd, and his children, Mary, William and Griffith (who died in 1863).

Many thanks

D.H. Morgan-Thomas

Hello Abersleuth- don't think I've done 3 either  :( which means I don't think I can PM. Fascinated to hear of your connection- you might be interested to know that Elizabeth's (née Williams) descendants by her second husband are actually all fairly well researched (mainly by myself and a late cousin). I am still very much interested in this branch of my paternal grandfather's family (whose grandmother was Elizabeth Ellen's half sister), but cannot quite think of how to get in touch with PM-ing. Except- perhaps they will not allow postal addresses, but I live in London, so we could always exchange correspondence!

All the Best  :),

Hi I have researched this family quite a bit! The mother was Elizabeth Ellen Phillips born in Islington to Edward and Elizabeth Phillips (née Williams) who both came from Aber. When Edward Phillips died in 1858, Elizabeth sent her daughter to live with her parents in Aber. Funnily enough, the same thing happened to her half sister and brother when Elizabeth herself died in 1872 . and The David Thompson living with the family as a draper's assistant i actually her brother. I have a 1911 census printout for the family if you would be interested, which gives the full names of all children. I am interested in this family because I am descended from one of Eliz Ellen's half sisters. For more information please email me.

I hope this interests you   :)

Daniel
