My Grandmother was born in 1922 in 9 Tolka cottages Im trying to find out who lived there in 1911 but there does not seem to be a number 9 Tolka cottage recorded I know her mum was Mary Kenny and Mary Kennys dad was Patrick Kenny, Has anybody come across number 9 Tolka Cottages?

My great grandparents lived in number 10 Tolka cottages

I believe Laurance McCullagh was my great grandfather!
Worked in Guinness, called up to Army reserve?

Hi Lads,

Got a phone call this morning to tell me that Nicholas Murphy married a girl called Jane Telio???

And that he came from Ballygarran, Kilmuckridge, but no match for this on 1911 census?

Any ideas?

Mick

Ye its quite possible Matthew was born in Wexford alright but i believe his brother Patrick was born sometime after 1916, i wouldn't mind getting my hands on the 1926 census to fill the gaps!

Ive tried that search even for my own father and it comes back with no results?

Any ideas?

Well going by Matthew the date he died and the age on his death cert, i make it to be 1916 dob, even if i could get his birth cert, id get his mothers maiden name?

could that work?

Sorry Shane what do you mean by that 1949 (Thoms)?

Also if i do hold somebodys death and marriage cert is it possible to trace their birth cert?

Any other ideas lads? Im all ears/eyes !!

Thanks again
Mick

possible clue from 1949 (Thoms)

no. 7 Ravensdale Rd is listed as M. Murphy

so maybe Nicholas died between 1939 and 1949..
