I am looking for more info on this firm I worked at in the 60s. I originally worked at Wadsworth and co Droylsden but moved to Devoge later, then they moved to Droylsden. I found one photo on here some years ago but would love info or photos of either place ?

I think it was on here that I enquired about my place of work at one time called Devoge and co on Oldham road Miles Platting, there was one photograph of it somewhere but now I cant even find it on Google,help !

Thank you for the info on my late grandmother Emily Hindley she was married to George Hindley, but they were buried apart George Hindley died in the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic. My Dad was only 3 months old when his father died. Its one of the reasons I could never find the whereabouts of George but a relation of mine told me about Grandma Hindleys funeral which was in St Cross's Church, Clayton.In 1968.

Found Rootschat some years ago I was trying to trace someone who emigrated to  Australia in 1959 I was actually successful with the help of someone on here, sadly though the person had passed away in Australia a couple of years before.

Ive not been on here for some time.

Anyone got pictures of this street in Clayton ? I did come across a couple a few years ago, but would love to see some from the 50s onwards or before that. My Dad was born there in 1918. :(
