Antrim / Fair Hills ?

Hi

I have a piece of paper upon which amongst other things it says Joseph 1745 Cloughmills (owner of fair hills there)

I suspect that joseph might be joseph loughridge

Is cloughmills the same as clough or a different place and what is Fair Hills ?

Hi all,i wonder if the surname Loughridge appears on the lists? tnx

Whilst mentioning this, i wonder if anyone has any info on land ownership around parkmore and the now glenarife forest park. My info is that ancestors were either landowners or tenant farmers in the parkmore area and supplemented their farming income by working in the mines.

For those interested in this loughridge connection, I have done some research on and off for a number of years and have information relating to Loughridge in antrim,also Loughridge links and marriages in Scotland, in particular the Midlothian/edinburgh areas. I have also travelled to NI on a number of occasions and whilst there,have taken the trouble to visit a number of older cemeteries to gather information. Much of it is still on my camera as i dont have time to transcribe or update my website at this stage!
