Their son James was born in 1874 so im not to sure if that is them. It so frustrating

I have searched both Irish & Scottish sites for any Mc Claid or Mc Glaid and came up with nothing
So i decided just to google the name Mc Claid and i got results
Mostly they are about a doctor in America but there was also a site called Whitepages, i think its like an American phone book. There is thousands of Mc Claid in it Mmmmm 
so now i am thinking that just maybe she came over to Ireland from America?? What do you think?

I have just tried searching www.irishsurnames.com and there is no Mc Claid there as well 
This is what is making me think it might not be Mc Claid.

Hi there thank you for getting back to me so soon. I had though that it said Mc Claid myself but when i do a search on Emerald Ancestors for Mc Claid it comes up with nothing

Can anyone please help I have been doing my family tree with great sucess that was until i came across a name i cannot decipher It has been driving me crazy trying to work out what it says. I know the top part says Mary Convery but its the maiden name i cant make out I believe it is an Irish name as they came over from Ireland sometime after 1874. If anyone can help me i would be very very grateful
