Hi corinne
I am related to John and Susan Tuddenham by my great grandmother who was a descendant of John Tuddenham (1834) and Margaret Wilson. My great grandmother Evelyn Taylor (nee Tuddenham) was the daughter of Elizabeth Tuddenham (born 1889) who was a daughter of John Tuddenham (born Longtown 1853) and Mary Ritchie, this John being the son of John and Margaret Tuddenham. Hope I haven't managed to confuse you too much, if only they werent all called John it would be much simpler!

I dont suppose you happen to have any old photographs of any of the  Tuddenhams that you wouldn't mind sharing? I have no photographs other than some of my great grandmother and it would be nice to see what they looked like.

I dont suppose you happen to know where young John is in the 1891 census? as he wasnt in the list you provided. He would be about 15/16.

Thank you for the information

Whats the best site to access the Scottish census' on? Most of the ones I've been using dont go as far as Scotland, which is annoying because this particular branch of the family kept popping over the border!

Hi
Im trying to trace my great-great-great grandparents and their family, the research I have done so far suggests that they were in Scotland during the 1881 and 1891 census. There names were John and Mary (nee Ritchie) Tuddenham. John was born in Cumberland and is a gamekeeper or warrener and Mary was from Dornock in Scotland. From what I have gathered so far at least 9 of their children were born in Scotland.
I want to clarify this and make sure I have the information right and am  interested to see where they are living during this time and who they are living with.
Any information is appreciated.

Thank you

Hi
Im trying to find out where my great-great grandmother was during the 1911 census, Ive tried looking on the 1911 census website but had no luck. The information on my great grandmothers birth certificate states that her mother was working al Laurel Bank, Coldstream in 1913.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to look this up for me? Her name was Elizabeth Tuddenham and she was born around 1888 in Dumfries, Scotland.

Any help would be much appreciated, Im new to this whole researching thing.
Thank you
Emma
