Durham Lookup Requests / Bailey 1881 census
« on: Tuesday 21 November 06 20:35 GMT (UK)  »
I'm trying to trace William Bailey born about 1857 in London who had a son named John Thomas Bailey in 1879 or 1880 possibly in Middlesborough. The family were travelling showmen.
The 1891 census shows William at Sunderland with wife Ann born 1870 and two young sons, so I think this may have been William's second wife. The eldest son at that time was born in Middleborough.
Any help re' Wiiliam and John in 1881 would be appreciated.

Regards Stuart

Suffolk Completed Lookup Requests / 1851 Census Lookup Please - Alfred ORRIS
« on: Tuesday 31 October 06 20:25 GMT (UK)  »
Alfred Orris was living with the Rosier family in Tostock, Suffolk in 1861 aged 14years. At that time he was an apprentice tailor.
Can anyone please help me find Alfred Orris aged 4 or 5 yrs old in the 1851 Suffolk census. The later census state he was born in Drinkstone, Suffolk, but he may have been born in Risbridge, Suffolk as I can't find his birth in Drinkstone.
kind regards
Stuart
