Warwickshire / Re: Daniel WALTON convict to NSW
« on: Tuesday 18 October 16 12:57 BST (UK)  »
hi Haney, I just found your request for help. I am a direct descendant of Daniel Walton and Catherine Leary. Daniel was born in Ladbroke, for some reason and thank god it was on the back of his ticket of leave it gave his birth place as Ladbroke.Recordfor a Daniel son of Richard Walton and Sarah from Ladbroke around the same time as his birth was estimated. He married another Convict Sarah Leary. Sarah it was noted on her convict records was a widow and had 3 children. None of which came with her to Australia. Have not been able to find out what happened to them unfortunately. if you need any more info please reply. All the best Kim.

I am trying to trace the family of my father erice edwin rayner. His mother was mildred maud barwick who married is father in 1914 at rochford .My fathers father name was either henry sidney rayner or sidney henry rayner. He married using the name henry rayner. I need some one to look up his marriage cert to see if any info is given as to who henry's parents were as I can't seem to find anything for sure.Henry was a fruitier and sold fruit from a stall in the markets his children were Doris,Joyce,Eric and Ida all now deceased.Dad died in australia in 2008.His mother died when he was 4 and he never knew her real name until he was in his 60's so we know very little about his family especialy his fathers side any help would be appreciated.

Trying to trace a Catherine Leary who was convicted of man robbery at the surrey qtr sessions on the 21/10/1839
Birth year was around 1802-1812 depending on what record you read.It stated on the convit with particulars record she was a widow with 3 children 2 boys and a girl but I haven't been able to find their names at this time. She married a Daniel walton when still bonded at Port Macquarie N.S.W. Australia and went on to have many more children she lived to a ripe old age of 85 and is buried at Parramatta N.S.W. It stated she was born at cork county cork Ireland but I can't find any info as to when she went to england or any death record for her husband. Any help would be appreciated.
