Thank you Shaun and Carole
We have found this William as a child of a siblings of my 5xggf William Lowns - there is definitely a few up in Bradford and it opens up more about John as although this William was raised in Bedworth his baptism was in Birmingham his mother's parish and we have found a sister who stayed in Warwickshire. Just going through other parish records in Birmingham for John it really is widening our family. Thank you both again x

Its an absolute nightmare Carole. I have found 2 more Lownds about the same age as John and they ended up as Williams nephews. So I'm hopeful I can connect John. I have written down all the census places they are all pretty much in the same streets as each other. I also found one of the nephews children in Wakefield Prison with a great grandson from Willenhall. Sadly I don't think William had a relationship with his first son also William. Thank you again for all your support on this line x

Thanks Carole. We didn't know William was up in Yorkshire to us he was just missing for years. The last we knew he was living in Mancetter. Till someone found his discharge from hospital he was a soldier he gave his birth as  Bedworth in 1780 and occupation as a Hatter - the son we knew about my 4xggf also William was a hatter in Mancetter.
So we ordered his dc and John was in attendance. We thought it might be Williams son but not baptism for this. There was only one John Lounds living in Yorkshire that we could find on census. Then we found baptism in 1811 for John son of Abraham and Mary this led to a dead end and I was directed to others researching John which is what led us to Corley near Coventry a place where Williams brother James Lowns had been baptised. This family has so many surname variations. We found a Thomas Lynns buried in Corley in 1787 and his line going back to 1600s but just want the link of John to William x

Sorry Shaun I have exhausted everything myself. There is a place called Corley near to Coventry that's why im interested as he is named on the dc of my 5xggf William Lowns, who was born in Bedworth. From what I can make out there were smaller places within Corley, one being Corley Croft and another being Corley Ash where the motoway services today - possibly Hamlets. I have seen this on several trees well all trees for this guy and didn't just want to add him.

During my research I have found a Thomas Lynns buried in Corley in 1787 and his line goes back as far as 1600s.

Corley is mentioned in the Domesday book as being a village in that location x

Carole census state he was born between 1811-1813. Most give Birmingham or Warwickshire one says Yorkshire. His wife Elizabeth is on all census as coming from Yorkshire. Thet have around 9 children b 1834-1856. He is a grocer or green grocer x

Not sure how he's connected but he was given as in attendance at my 5 x Grandfather's death. My 5xggf was born in Bedworth x

Please can I have information on John Lounds b c1811 in Corley Croft, Coventry, Warwickshire. I had originally thought he was John born to Abraham and Mary in Birmingham, Warwickshire. I believe died in 1886 in Bradford, Yorkshire (if its the right one). He married Elizabeth?  and had quite a few children all census but one say Birmingham or Warwickshire. Any help on this would be most appreciated tia x
