Hi Charby

I'm not sure if you have picked up the right person - my request was not for the GODLEY family.

Completed Census Requests / Re: Boarder aged 4 months

Hi

It is quite common to see boarders of a young age - perhaps mother in hospital, has died or other reasons.

But I would not assume they are related.

Cheers

Lancashire Lookup Requests / 1861 Census Lancashire
« on: Friday 28 January 05 00:41 GMT (UK)  »
Hi to all

Wondering if there is anyone who has access to the 1861 census or index for Lancashire and could do a lookup for me.

Searching for : -
George HANCOCK (born 1819 in Cuckney or Norton in Nottingham).

Have located his wife and family, but he is not with them.
His wife states married rather than widow, so hoping he is around somewhere.

Many thanks
Fran

Hi
Wondering if anyone has access to the 1851 census of Whitwell.

From the indexes I have located A HANCOCK family on page 506 and two GEE families on page 499.

If anyone can do a lookup for me, it would be much appreciated.

Regards
Fran

Hi Paul

One important feature of any genealogical program is the ability to do backups, so you can protect your data.

Check Legacy for exporting to Ged files and ensure that for your own protection, that you use it.
