shane ,  the births i got in the last couple of months from inchigeelagh births extractions .anniedwyer84 kindly found the wedding for me . what do you think would be  the next move ? thanks , mick . shane , here is where i got my info . thanks , mick .

thanks , shanew147 , for your reply to my message . im pretty sure michael callaghan and mary mahony were married in kilnamartra , cork in 1827 . their children were -john, born in derryvane in 1828 , jacob,gortaveer ,1830 , michael ,gortaveer , 1832 , daniel , curra ,1835 , patrick ,inchigeelagh , 1837, james ,inchigrada , 1839 , margaret ,inchigrada , 1841 , jeremiah , inchigrada , 1843 , denis ,inchigrada ,1845 [married clonrohid parish cork ,1875 ,died 1884] i also have a mary born in  1821 married to thomas butler[ born waterford in 1818] who could also be a daughter of michael and mary , but unsure  . in 1846 , after departure from plymouth on board "hooghly" ,  came  the arrival in adelaide  , south australia  of michael callaghan and wife and child  ,edward[?] , patrick , john ,james , michael  , and thomas and mary butler and 2 children . im unsure about  edward  ,but my gf was edward , his father was edward and his father was edward . do you think i have enough info here to progress any further ? thanks , again . mick p. shane , this is what i sent in november .  can you advise me of my next move . thanks , mick .

dear mmwolfe ,  firstly , apologies for not getting back to you sooner -somehow i couldnt find your message . im not that flash on the computer !!! you wouldnt believe how great it was to hear from one of "my" callaghans !!! lots of people have looked at my messages  , but yours has been the only positive reply . what has always puzzled me is why michael and mary didnt take all their children to australia . i realize that you said you dont know much about the  other callaghans , only about denis ,  however , i would be over the moon if you could let me know whatever you can about them . i can give you as much as i have from the australian end . as i said ,  i would love to make the connection somehow .  thanks a lot . regards from down under , mick purdon .
