I would read it as "Kilcurru" so "Kilcrow" "Kylecrow" with an adjoining townland "Killiane" most likely location.

Hi
You must remember that at that time there was little formal education in Ireland. The address on the form most likely written by the recruiting officer using his own interpretation of what he was told. The most likely location is "Kilcrow". There is a Whyte family recorded residing there in both the 1901 and 1911 census.

While Church marriage records for Kilkerrin are only available from 1884...Civil registration started in 1864 and record may be available there.

See online a Marriage / Church record 1878 for Martin Keane at Clarinbridge                                                                                              Also a record 1878 Honor Fahey (variations Fey/Fay/Fahy/Fahey-Honor/Honoria/Norah/Nora) also in Clarinbidge Church. The cost is €5 to view each Record. There is also a birth record for a Patrick Keane in 1889 at Oranmore Church. This year would match the 1911 census aged 22 rather than the 1901 census when listed aged 10 !                                                                                                                                                                               Was Nora O Brien younger or older than Patrick Keane

People often aged 15 years between 1901 & 1911 !!!
As registration of Births in Ireland did not commence until 1864, the census returns of 1851 were used to confirm if one was 70+ years and qualified for a pension when scheme started in 1908.
The 1901 census ages are probably more accurate as there were a considerable number of people aged 70 / 71 on 1911 census to "Qualify".     Ger
