Hi Judy

Sorry I have nothing to add but would be so desperate to order the death certificates of 2 sisters who die the same day, please keep us updated, so interesting.

ooh Charlotte21, this IS MY lot, John McCulloch married three times, 1st Wife Isabella died he then married for the 2nd time, she died, he then married her sister, so the marriage was not legal (until 1907) when you could marry your dead wife's sister.

This is all from memory so I shall access my tree & be back,  sooooo excited.

Thank you

Hello Scott

My McCullochs all hail from Glasserton I'm afraid, You would think I'd be able to find out more about them just because they did stay still!

Hello Cupcake

Thank you very much for the time you spent looking for my McCulloch's, McNairns & McKie's, unfortunately none of the above appear to be mine, sad, I was so looking forward to adding some more leaves to my tree.   My lot just seem to disappear without a trace.

Thanks again
Alison

Hello Cupcake

Hope your offer still stands for penninghame, can't believe no one has responded.   I have to be a bit vague since don't have access to my tree at this time, however if it's not too much trouble my Family of McCullochs, McNairn & Mckie are from this area, in particular the McCullochs who lived at Glasserton for many, many years.

Many thanks
Alison

Hi

Would be very grateful if you could check records for Kirkmaiden for me. I have just got DC for David McCulloch who died 1858, I believe he was married to Mary Campbell, son of William McCulloch & Margaret McKeand. If there are any other McCulloch burials it would good to know.

Many thanks for your time.

Hi Norrie

Could you check your indexes for any Goodall, namely Peter Goodall died 1921 and his parents Peter Goodall died 1919 & Mary Ann Morrison died 1913.  If there are any other Goodalls that would be great.

Thank you
Alison

Hi Norrie

Thanks so much for checking out the Morrisons for me.   Margaret Weir is definately mine married to William Gaylor Morrison.   Not so sure on the Mary Ann Morrison although age at death is bang on and there is a Mary M Thomson staying with William in the 1901 census as a visitor (not daughter)

Time to put the kettle on and do some detective work..

Thank you again
