Worcestershire Lookup Requests / Re: Rosina/Rosanna Banks.

Thank you, Cati. You have given me another clue.   Mary Maypole must have been a child of either her sister Mary or her sister Elizabeth.  So Mary must have been born c 1830.  What a shame registrations didn't start earlier.

Worcestershire Lookup Requests / Rosina/Rosanna Banks.
« on: Wednesday 18 January 12 21:36 GMT (UK)  »
Rosina Banks was born 1801 in Worcester  and died 1870 as Rosanna Banks.
Is there anyone who is able to locate her on the census of 1841 or 1851 or 1861 please?  Her parents are thought to be  Edward and Mary.
Family lore has it that she was a school teacher but we have no information about her except for her birth and death.  As she never married it is possible that she resided with one of her siblings, who are  thought to be Mary, Joseph, John, Elizabeth and Edward.
We have information regarding John and his family but nothing at all about any of the others.
Thank you for reading this. Any information will be most appreciated.

Does anyone have access to back issues of the Adelaide Advertiser?

I would very much like a copy of any or each of the following death notices.

Adelaide Advertiser  18th May 2009      Leader Ellen Elizabeth (Betty )    died  16 May 2009
4th June  2005     Leader Janice Kaye                      died   3 June 2005
6 th March  2006  Leader Nathalie June Mary           died  5 march 2006

Any information at all, about any of these women would be most appreciated.
Thank you.

Essex / Re: Inmate Romford Union House.

That is incredible.  Susan is my great great grandmother's sister.  There are arguments in the family as to whether their maiden name was Robins or Roberts.  Some records seem too indicate  Robins and some indicate Roberts.  We knew that their parents were James and Elizabeth and think that they had at least one sibling, James.  We think that my great grandmother was born in Essex in 1816 but we do not  have proof.
I can't thank you enough for all of your help.

I didn't have the date of the marriage. Thank you very much and thank you for the 1871  census.
You have knocked down a few brickwalls for me.

Thank you.  I wonder if they are together in the 1871 Census.

1881 census has Susan Parker,  widowed,  an inmate at the Romford Union house.
Has anyone access to any records which could tell me when she became an inmate there and when she presumably died there.
Her husband was George Parker but I don't know when he died.
Any information about either of them would be most appreciated.
Thanks........Janae.
