And Joseph Senior's parents were Nevil Little and Jane Peare - they can be traced back another two generations here in Cricklade.

Thomas was baptised 19 Dec 1766 at St Sampson's Church here in Cricklade and Thomas & Martha had a son robert Rogers baptised 2 April 1791.

I haven't found their marriage yet ..... so assume it was outside Cricklade, perhaps in one of the neighbouring parishes. I have checked St Sampsons, St Marys, Latton, Minety and Esiey with no luck. Other ones worth looking at would be Leigh and Purton ....

So are you Rita then?
I'm more than willing to help with whatever I know. I'm not connected to the family but am researching Cricklade families.
Let me know what you are interested in and I'll see what I can find for you.
Kind regards
David :)

OK thanks .... am interested in the Cricklade boys.

Do you have similar potted history for both Joseph & Henry Howse?

Also I was interested in your comment about the Hudson Bay Howse .... but thought he was from a different line?

Just had a thought - is Jane Box about in 1851? I suspect that she may have been married as I can't seem to find a suitable baptism on IGI.

John Nash  Q1. 1858 Devizes  Vol. 5a  Pg. 107
Jane Box on the page

Ecneps Barbara found that one   :D  She is indexed as James Box  ::)
