Warwickshire Lookup Requests / Re: kingsnorton church look up
« on: Saturday 22 January 11 14:44 GMT (UK)  »
Hello John

I've been looking through the Warwickshire/Birmingham posts hoping I would find someone who could look up anything (BMD in parish registers) for my ancestors... so I'm hoping you might help?

Winter James Whip Maker
married Elizabeth
had Arthur James, Emily, Florence and (Thomas Winter-1877) I do not have much info other than they lived in Kings Norton area for most of their lives.

I would guess that James and Elizabeth married around 1870.

Hope you might find something, sorry it's so little information to go on.

thank you.

Hi there!

Thank you for your message. Off the top of my head I can't pinpoint an Arthur Killer but there were/are a lot of them in Derbys. I would be grateful for any info you can send me, I will investigate further!

Thank you!

Parkywinter.

Anyone have any ancestors/relatives who originated in Kent?  My ancestor was a Master Blacksmith (Edmund) and lived in Lyminge, Kent in 1880s. Some of his relatives moved to Canada before the WW1 but I would like to hear from anyone who may have connections in Kent.

Anyone have any KILLER family members/ancestors? My ancestors came from Derbys then moved to Birmingham in mid 1800s.  Ladywood, Birmingham and various other Warwickshire areas.

Give me a message if you think you have any connections.

Any WINTERs that may have/have had family in and around Birmingham (or anywhere in Warwickshire) or Hulme, Manchester.

Grandfather Thomas was born in Manchester and moved to Birmingham in 1880s, his father was a Whip Maker.

Any possible rellies or connections out there please?

The Lighter Side / Re: finding a 'dead' rellie - has lost me a 'live' one

Hi xin

that's very upsetting for you... and frustrating too. All your hard work and effort has proved your theory right but as you say.. "lost" you someone. My empathy for you...  Don't give up, the lost one may well think things through and come back to you before too long.

Regards,  Parkywinter
