I wondered if the 1804 William is the same one buried 1885 in the Kingswear Cemetary with wife Sarah?
also if I have the correct lineage are you able to help with earlier generations at all, anything you care to send would be very greatfully recieved and credit duly noted to you.
I understand from checking that Kingswear  P.Registers were not filmed and do not occur on the LDS?? so any further facts you may be able to help with would be a godsend, look forward to hearing from you,

Hello Neil,
I am Helping a good family friend, and what would appear to be your distant cousin, a Knapman Descendant.
She has Just started looking into her roots and Knapman is her Ggrandmothers family, I've tentatively arrived at William Knapman B  1804 d 1885 Buried in Kingswear Cemetary with his Wife Sarah (Yeoman marr Totnes 1843), he was sof William and Jane ??
Whilst I havent yet substantiated these with BMD certs, ( primarily as I dont want to spoil the discovery of names etc for my friend,) I wondered if this was your William and wondered if It were would you be willing to share any further info on this line, in fact any help you might offer would be very much appreciated,
Regards

Kent Lookup Requests / Re: Parish look ups
« on: Thursday 07 May 09 20:32 BST (UK)  »
Very Grateful for your help Betty, I am not familiar with the Boughton Aluph area this is the first Time I have ventured into Kent, since we last "spoke" I have found from the IGI Parents of George to be William (B 1764 Chislett)and Margaret Dodd (b 1767 willesborough).
with Williams Parents recorded as William b abt 1738-1744 Chislett whom married a Mary ?? surname unknown. so possibly marr abt 1760 ish.
should you know of anyone who might be able to help with any further lookups, in these Parishes  I would be very happy to hear from them,
I am sure there must be a large Fryer Family clan in the area and would love to be able to connect up any individuals anyone might want to post.

Q: Are there any online resources available at all?

I have been looking at the Kent family History cds for sale but for one family in the odd parish seems a bit expensive.
Should anyone have any used cds for sale I am interested for sure.

Hi Matt

I've got transcriptions of Molash & Boughton Aluph parish registers.

Betty

Hi Betty,
I am a newbie to this list researching the FRYER family from Boughton Aluph. Please can I ask for a couple of look up's if you are still able and willing?  Is there any chance at all please of looking up Baptism and a Prior Marriage :

According to the census's James Fryer Christened /Born between 1848-1850 son of George and Emily Fryer Boughton Aluph. (I have yet to obtain possible GRO index ref: Jun Qtr 1849)
The parents were married prior to Civil Regn est as eldest son Aaron was born abt 1840-1, I cant find any marriage in the GRO index.
I wonder if they married in the Parish ?? Allthough Emily was born Chilham,  I am hoping you are still able and willing. Any help very much appreciated.
Regards
