Thanks for the replies. I don't know what I was thinking, looking for people before they were born!! I'm looking into her parents on the 1841 which has just come online but I think I'll have to pay a visit to Yorkshire to find out more!

Thanks again.

Further to the above :
Rheam has been found in Collingham, West Riding, in 1841. I still would like to find Matthew Ream or Sarah Carbutt (Carbert) in Long Marston, if at all possible, please.

Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / Pateley Bridge Parish Registers- 1865
« on: Sunday 26 February 06 16:47 GMT (UK)  »
Please can anyone help???
I have already got 2 birth certiicates for the wrong Ann E. (Annie) Hardcastle. I have found another on freebmd but a few years out so I wonder if anyone has access to the registers who could check this one before I send for it, please.
Her mother was Martha Stott and her father was Thomas Hardcastle. She married Isaac Pickersgill (but I can't find that either yet!!). This birth was the December quarter of 1865 registered in Pateley Bridge.

I believe her sister was Cecilia Jane born Pateley Bridge December quarter 1876. If you could also check the parents on this birth it would be great.

Any help very gratefully received. Thanks alot.

I'm looking for any information relating to Rheam Carbutt born 1807 in Long Marston. His father is Matthew Ream and his mother is Sarah Carbutt. I don't know if they were ever married. I'm trying to find out if it is the same Rheam Carbert as married Elizabeth Grove in Woodhouse in 1844 who did not state a father on the marriage certificate!

Any information would be very welcome.
Thank you.

Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / 1841 census - Rheam Carbert
« on: Sunday 12 February 06 18:44 GMT (UK)  »
I would be very grateful if someone could look at the 1841 census for the Woodhouse District to see if Rheam is anywhere abouts. He marries Elizabeth Grove on May 13th, 1844 at St Mark's Church, Woodhouse. He was born around 1811 perhaps in Collingham but states no father on his marriage certificate. However, a Rheam Carbutt is on the IGI as having a Matthew Ream as his father and Sarah Carbutt as his mother so I'm wondering if it could be the same one albeit born 1807 in Long Marston!

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.

Thanks very much Wendy for pointing out  Young G. Calvert. I've known his name for such a long time now that I forgot it may appear a bit odd!! Thanks also for the address. I'm grateful to you Moira for finding Alfred for me. Can I just confirm that Wharfdale is the registration district for Clint or do you think he was registered there in passing like you can do nowadays? I'm sorry to appear abit dim but all the districts seem so muddling to me and I've recently paid out for a certificate for another person in what I thought was the right district only to find a totally different person of the same age but with the same name!!
