All I could definately say was between 1884-1885 because I am almost certain he gets licensed to be a doctor in England from 1885.

Can anyone do a search for me on canadian passenger lists i am trying to find out when George alto Cherry came to England should be around 1870-1886ish got him in1891 census living in Plumstead rd.

Was my GG Grandad a medic in the Canadian / US army his name was George Alton Cherry
it would have been in the 1880's is there anything on the internet which might help.

Yes I put nearly all the ribbons on so others can compare them on there photos.
I think that my grandad would have received the Burma, Africa The Europe one and Defence
not so sure about.
