Hi Alexnip

I havent done anything further on this, and didn't find any baptisms for George or Thomas.
For some reason I stopped looking into this, but I did come across some info along the way which may or may not have any substance - although I don't want to send you on a wild goose chase, there may be something here!
I checked back through my notes and this is what I had scribbled down:
George Beadle b about 1800 (the George that married Elizabeth Richardson), his possible parents: George Beadle b. 24 Jan 1775. Married an Elizabeth and had a Thomas 13 Nov 1803. This Thomas married a Hannah - does that fit with your 16 year old?

The parents of George(1775) may have been: George Beadle b. 17 Aug 1735, death 28 Feb 1810; and a Sarah Green, married 16 Nov 1767 Cudham Kent.

The parents of George Beadle (1735) may have been: John Beadle b. 1712 and an Elizabeth.

The parents of John Beadle (1712) may have been: John Badgley and Sarah Coffin

The parents of John Badgley may have been: John Badgley and Euphemia Radley.

I would be very interested to hear if any of this is verified.  I do have a death cert for George if any good.

best of luck. Caroline.

I'm trying to trace the parents of Mary Mac Callum, who was married to Roylyn Mac Callum of the Telegraph Services in Lahore on 16 Feb 1916. They had 7 children: Alice Roderiquez, Sybil anderson, Geraldine Keelan, Kathleen Maude Beadle, Iris Morris, Udena Fern and Jack MacCallum. Any idea as to how I can find out where she was born and who her parents were? thanks!

Hi Dawn, thanks for your reply. The last info I have is that she had the last of her 9 children in August 1931. He was born possibly in Arlington Road, London.

Hi, I'm trying to find info on the death of a Lilian Isobel May nee Cooper (b.1888, Hampshire).  Sometimes she called herself Lilian Isobel, sometimes Isobel Lilian. Her maiden name was Cooper, and I think she sometimes called herself Butcher.  She was a partner to Richard John May, sometimes called John Richard May, but we don't know if they were actually married or not. I've searched on freebmd for all the options, but found nothing. I don't know which area she was living when she died... I'd appreciate if anyone could help me with this! many thanks
Caroline

Can anyone advise me as to where I can find records of my husbands uncle, Russell Beadle, who joined the RAMC in India in 1941. He apparently served on the Burma front and in the Madras area. He was born in India, and lived in the Bombay area. Thanks!

Other Countries / INDIA Royal Army Medical Corps - Russell Beadle
« on: Monday 14 September 09 15:52 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to find out some information about Russell BEADLE (born 7 April 1922, in Saharanpur I think) , who was with the Royal Army Medical Corps from 1941. He joined the army in 1941, and served in the Burma and Madras areas. I think he was based in Bombay. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find some information about what happened to him?

Bluebadger, thank you for your reply. I'm very excited!
You may have this already but.. Your grandmother Lucy was the sister of Edward John Beadle and an Ethel who we think died young.
Edward John Beadle was born in 1890 in India. His son Mervyn is one of 10 children from 2 different marriages. So that makes Mervyn (my husbands father) and your mother Nancy cousins. Mervyn (still alive) told me that Lucy had 2 children, Joy and Reginald. I don't know whether he knew about your mum Nancy. Is she still alive?
Amos was born in Keston, Kent, in 1850. He was one of 11 children born to George Beadle and Elizabeth (nee Richardson).
I would love to see pictures of Lucy and Nancy, I will send you a message with my email address. Are you living in the UK?
Many thanks again, Caroline
