Hi,

Of the photos that I have taken so far I do not have any Jeffs.

There is a website online that is alittle out of date and it lists the names of people lying in this cemetery. There are no Jeffs mentioned.

http://www.interment.net/data/aus/qld/caloundra/witta/witta_iz.htm

I have not completed photographing all graves, so I will keep in mind your interest when next I am there to take photos.

Good luck

I don't have any real information about the Priors Court farm, but I do have a photo.

The farm appears to have been subdivided and there are now another 2 or 3 homes nearby the original home.

I am taking photographs of headstones at the Witta Cemetery which is near Maleny on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

If anyone would like a photograph of a headstone from the Witta Cemetery please let me know because I may have it.  I haven't completed taking all the photographs as yet but I will get it done in time and if I don't have your photograph right now I can send it on to you later.

Hello Whit,

I went to visit Ledbury in Sept 2009 searching for my family at  Priors Court.  I actually went to the Aylton, Priors Court to meet the owners but they were not home at the time of my visit.

Do you have any leads in regards to your family and Priors Court yet?

I have been using the paid version of Rootsmagic for a number of years now and I think it is a good starting place.  They have their own message boards and if you get stuck people are happy to help you out - just like on rootschat.

Selecting genealogy software program is a person thing and as you progress into your hobby your needs change and so you start looking and testing other products to help with your current gap.

I'm currently testing Family Historian.

Have fun!

I have FMT 2011 on order.  I am a Rootsmagic user and have been testing Family Historian and have decided that it is alittle lacking in the sources and tasks side of things.

Can anyone tell me, can you create a website in FMT 2011?

Can anyone else comment on the comparison of Family Historian to FTM 2011 or FTM in general?

Great to hear from you Grantley,

When I visited last year they congregation were just finishing a church service.  We meet the minister and were able to talk to the locals who were familiar with my family.  The people were very friendly.  It was lovely to meet these people and chat to them.  Such a lovely church yard too.

Hi grantleydawn,

I visited SA last year on a Family History tour.  I went to the Church and Cemetery that you mention and have taken a photo of the Church itself.  If you are interested I can send to you a couple of photographs of the Church and the sign out the front.
