Her father was Frederick c1862 & Anne Mary Davison c1866

The family moved to live in Belfast and my Grandmother was born 1899

Hi Leon47,

Try searching on Proni Historical Maps, check the tool bar for layers
same places but different years.  More help on the left.
You can even do a split screen which gives you old and new.
               Best regards,   Billy.

Hi Leon47,
Just saw your message about birth registration, I also had trouble
                     searching for family.
If you can’t find under Belfast try searching the nearest registration
                     to it, ie Lisburn, Newtownards.

                    Best of luck,    Billy.

Hi John,

I’am down in the Library, have asked about newspapers and sorry
to say the Shropshire Star started about 1964.
They told me the place to look would be Oswestry Library.

I have taken a few things down, Elizabeth’s
Marriage 27 May 1899.      Elizabeth Harriet Skelton. 26.     John Chettoe,  21.
              1939 REGISTER,
              1911 CENSUS,   Birth Cardiff, Glamorganshire.

Let me know if his links in your search.
             Best regards,   Billy.

Hi John,

Just read your message about a death notice, I’am some times
at the archives.  Next time I’m able to get there, will take a look
for you.        Not sure if anyone wants the old papers that you
            have to pre order it.

            Best regards,   Billy.

Hi Leon47,
24 years apart, I think they might be family or computer fault.
Don’t think that they can use someone’s plot that soon.
You can get in touch with the cemetery’s office.

The old papers can be search for free in the Newspapers Archives
just around the corner from the Belfast Central Library.
It’s best to check times of opening also take a memory stick for
                    what you find.

I have Shropshire Archives Library here and use them for free
Find my past, British Newspapers, Ancestry.
When I use this archives, I logged into the Newspapers set up
my account “ free” at home.
Then log in down there and save anything I find, at home you
open the account and go to saved.

Ancestry finds can be sent to any Wi-Fi address.
Best of luck, let us know if they are family.
                                    Billy.

Hi Leon47,
Just saw your message about unknown persons in same grave.
How close in years did both parties die?
It could be correct what Jon_ni, you might find some information
if any death notices are available.

I too found the same problem with my family but it was other
                    member of older people.

Good luck on your search,      Billy.

Hi everyone,
Great information which should help Bants2468  along.
Googled Stoneyford, just to see where it was, noticed
St John’s Church then remembered about the Proni will.

The Reverend Samuel Mayes Clark, searched for him found
some stuff. Then came across  nifh .org Derriaghy Parish
                        Church Baptisms 1827==1917.

Anne Jane. Mays.  Born 7 January 1871,  Baptism 26 February 1871.
                         John Mays and Isabella.

William. Maze.      Born 8 September 1862,  Baptism 28 September 1862.
                         John Maze and Isabella.
I think they are family members.
                         Best regards,     Billy.
