Hi

Just wondered if anybody has any information on Manor Mill in Salford  (now demolished).

A Great Grand Aunt of mine Ada White married Ernest Robertson who's father Rueben Robertson ran Manor Mill.

I am interested in any info on the family and the Mill.

Thanks  :)

Thanks Shane

Can you just go to the library and view the film or do you have to book a reader etc??

Never been to National Library before, what is the set up??

Thanks

Is it not possible whilst I am in Dublin to view this record somewhere?  Would they be held in one of the Libraries in Dublin?

Thanks

Hi

I have located a marriage on Irish Genealogy and think it could be my Ancestor but would like to know if Joannem as a first name could mean John and Mariam = Mary??

Here is the record:- http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/4b59af1367837

Would this record give John's occupation at the time?  I know he is living in UK from 1841 onwards and is a Brushmaker.

Thanks for any help  :D

Great info Wilcoxon ...so happy that you have located Charles and Eleanor. Sounds like a lovely cottage may have to pay Erdigg a visit soon and explore....

Thanks  :D
