many many thanks for providing that information, please accept my apologies for not posting sooner.
I do believe that you are 100% spot on with that family listing! They are my ancestors, and Elizabeth Irwin is my great grandmother, and William is my great grandfather through marriage (though I am thinking he is probably the brother or relation of Elizabeth's dead 1st husband? jumping to conclusions here)
I am still in the very early stages of researching my Irish family links - and was mostly concentrating on the Scottish- but now I have just discovered that my grandmother, (Catherine McDonald, who married Thomas Charles Irwin) - her father, James McDonald & mother, Matilda Gallacher, both emigrated from Ireland too
! So that will be a seperate posting soon
