Hello Mobo,
Thanks for the info.  I didn't know about Multimap, I'll have a look.
Regards,
Joan.

Hello,
Thank you for replying.  Now I understand why I couldn't find these two surnames on your family tree.
Shame that the lady related to Thatcher and Hillier isn't now interested as she is probably related to me.
Well done for all the work you've done on your own tree.  You must be very pleased.
Thanks again.
Regards, Joan.

Hello All,
Do you know you can now look at houses in the U.K. on Google Street View, launched recently.  Amazing but a bit creepy, big brother like!
Best wishes, Joan.

Hi Therese,
My mother used to say that we were related to the MacGillycuddys (not sure of spelling) and that they came from Ireland (definitely Cork - Tipperary, I think).  However, I have not yet come across any connection in my search.
My mother's family lived in Wandsworth, London.
Could there be any connection to your tree?
Regards, Joan.

Hello Heather,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm not sure whether you received the message which I sent specifically to you, saying that my daughter was in touch with you last year (and scanned my Mum's photo to you).
We haven't looked at this side of the family for a while as my daughter has been concentrating on her husband's family tree search.
I remember my mother mentioning the name Harry Parish but I didn't know the connection.  She mentioned Amy Thatcher most, was she your mother-in-law's mother (daughter of Eliza)?
The message shown which I posted yesterday was to Reaybo (Matthew).  However, I have looked at his tree and can't see the Hilliers or Thatchers (mentioned in his posts).
I look forward to hearing from you again.
Best wishes,
Joan.

Caernarvonshire Lookup Requests / Re: Hillier family

Hello,
I am new to this site but I think my daughter had some contact with you last year.
My grandmother was Catherine Hillier and I notice that you have found the connection to Parish and Thatcher, two names that my mother mentioned when I was a child.  I think my grandmother's sisters must have married men with these surnames. I think my daughter forwarded to you a scan of my mother's photo.
Regards, Joan.

Hello,
I have just come across this site.  My gr.grandfather was Charles Hillier who you mentioned.  His youngest daughter, Catherine, was my grandmother - who I remember well.  How are you related to them?
Regards, Joan.
