Hi Catherine
I have paperwork that puts my great great grandfather as being born circa 1809 the son of Mary and John Doyle who resided at 10 Ormond Market, in the Parish of St Michans., the papers note that this family had lived in the parish for over a century.  He had brothers Patrick and John that I know for sure as they were petitioners on his convict papers.  He was transported on the Cambridge in 1827.  He stole goods from Messrs A Robertson Jewellers.
Do you have any registers that would cover Ormond Market between 1790 and 1820's?  The names Peter, John, Michael, Edward, George, Ellen, Mary Anne and Amelia Jane (although common names)were used extensively down all the lines of Michael Doyles children. I live in Australia and so dont get to view many resources.
Any ideas greatfully accepted
Maureen
